Suffering Happiness
© 1980 The Imports

Happiness is a thorn in the side
To tomorrow
So let me kook into your eyes
Can we dance?

I’m sorry I said all those nice things
I didn’t mean to hurt you
But I don’t believe in black and white
Just colors and the color blind

We went out to the dance machine
And I was sucked inside
I swallowed my pride and something
Pretending I was there

You once were lovely, too
But now you’ve wasted away
I try to give you happiness
But don’t demand it from me

I’ve read reviews about tomorrow
Some say it comes and goes
We all suffer you
Until we see the truth
